Michele Brown, MA

Michele Brown, Christian Therapist in Doylestown, PA

My life’s work and passion has been focused on ministering to teenagers and young adults, especially young women, but I have worked with all ages and genders from 3rd grade up into adulthood. My goal is to come alongside people and walk with them as they are battling through whatever holds them back from living a full, healthy life. I am passionate about helping you become the person that God has created you to be. Sometimes we get bogged down in anxiety, depression or the need to live up to someone else’s standards and we forget the grace and love of Christ. You might be impacted by trauma in your life and need a safe environment to work through past issues. I would love to work alongside you as you find safety, peace, and God’s purpose in your life.

I earned a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy at Reformed Theological Seminary in 1994. I have spent the majority of my career life as a counselor at a Trauma Informed School working with middle and high school students. I have also worked as youth leader at my church, along with my husband. My career was put on hold for many years while I stayed home with my 4 children but I’m very excited to be at a place where I am working towards getting my license as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a love for getting “back to the basics": unplugging from electronics, being outside, and traditional cooking. In my spare time, I love to travel and kayak. I look forward to meeting you!
